Growing Up: Ted Radio Hour

Driving home from Orlando yesterday I listened to the most enlightening Ted Talk on why parenting can be so difficult.  If you have ever been stressed out of your mind as a parent, don’t fret you are perfectly normal.

So what’s harder for you, being a parent or doing your day-job?

 

How does the idea of letting your child play with fire, own a pocket-knife, or throw a spear sound?  Well according to Gever Tulley these things are essential to a happy, productive child.

Would you encourage your child to do more dangerous things if you believed it may help them become more creative, competent, and in control?
